A great suspense! Just when you think you have the story figured out another character evolves and the plot twists.
I loved this novel. The characters develop in a slow but captivating way throughout and there are plenty of twists and turns to keep the story progressing. As stories within the novel unfold, it is difficult to tell if you're rooting for the right person. The author paints dark character portraits but illuminates them with the right amount of humor and humanity. I loved the ending though I had no idea what was coming.
It exceeded my expectations. I wanted it to go on. It would make a great series. The writer did an excellent job of holding my attention.
The first pages lock you in to a fast paced mystery involving bikers, meth, and a pregnant teen looking for redemption. A great first novel from Mr Smith, I am sure we will here from him again.
Not what I expected but very good
This had a good plot, but it was a bit hard to follow and it needs editing badly.
