In He is Mine, book two of the Guns n' Boys series, Domenico Acerbi and Seth Villani head to New York under the guise of continued training and to find the person who leaked family information. For the boys, this time is a honeymoon of sorts since they will be away from Seth’s wife, immediate family demands and other curious eyes.

During this time, Domenico and Seth learn more about each other and their relationship is tested due to Dom’s past and Seth’s insecurities about relating to their relationship dynamic. While both are committed to each other, they show their love and passion in different ways, with Seth having a more modern casual approach as compared to Dom’s traditional and cultured ways. These differences compliment them as a couple but they do have their moments where they clash leading to a few tumultuous times and deliciously hot kinky sex.

In addition to the tension and heat between these two fine Sicilians, family tensions continue to rise due to Seth’s appointment as the Don. As displeased factions are plotting to rise in the ranks and placing Seth in danger, Dom feels the pressure of his loyalty to the family and to Seth knowing what is at stake. When it’s time, Domenico reacts the only way he knows how and forces Seth to implement all his training.

The time Seth and Dom are able to spend together in New York is crucial to the furtherance of their relationship, as the dimensionality builds to a necessary point and reinforces how strongly they feel for one another. Getting to learn more about Domenico was compelling and reinforced his fiercely protective and possessive approach toward his relationship with Seth. Of course, Dom’s methods may not always be Seth’s preferred choice, but ultimately it felt true to Dom’s nature. My tendency to relate to Dom didn’t waver, but I was also able to appreciate Seth’s carefree personality more. For me, these two characters are addictive because they both love so intensely but also in such unique ways.

Continuing on target, K.A. Merkian’s, narrative qualities are precise, intimate and entertaining with strong character architecture entwined with dark humor and I cannot wait to continue with book three. For those who want to delve into the world of the Sicilian mafia and experience taboo kinky times with two lovable characters, I highly recommend Guns n' Boys!

I absolutely devoured this story!
I liked park 2 better only bc their relationship seemed much more solid. They fit together so beautifully.
Their love is so consuming and passionate you feel right there with them.
I adore Seth, but the way Dom loves him is so amazing to me.

Can't wait for book 2!
Excellent story! The Merikan duo really knows how to keep the reading on edge and wanting more. If you liked the first book, you will be a fan of this one.

Picking up from where part 1 left off, I can see why the first book was split into two parts and I'm very glad that the authors chose to do so because it paced out the plot quite well. I really like how the backstories for both Seth and Dom were fleshed out slowly, while the pace of the action went along at a steady pace, with sexy times offering a little relief from the intense situations that occur in the book. A great read! (
I absolutely love these girls. I have read almost everything they've written. Guns n' boys is a story with grit and excitement and finding love in the most unusual places. I can't wait to read more of the Dom and Seth story. I recommend this story to everyone that likes exciting stories. However if you don't like violence then this would be a tough one. Hence the dark part of genre.
I almost did not read these books, but so glad I did. Poor Seth, I just feel so sorry for him, his life is a mess thru no fault of his own. How would you like to be a member of this family, yuk! Seth is lucky to have Domenico and I think Domenico is just as lucky to have Seth in his life, even though he will not admit it. This is a compelling story of family, betrayal and love. Cannot wait for the next book. I know this Is picky, but would have given 5 stars, but what is up with that cheesy picture of Seth and Domenico at the end of the book? Not even close to their description in the book. Just kind of put a damper on my imagination.
WOW! What a book! Just finished reading this book and I must say I thoroughly enjoyed it. Seth oh sweet Seth I felt like shaking him a few times throughout the book. Really wished he would get some smarts about him take his head out of the clouds and see what was really going on around him. Dom oh my I really liked him and it was great to see Silvio from the other series. Anywho, I really enjoyed the dynamics between Seth and Dom and considering that Dom is an assassin he displayed a great amount of patience with Seth. I really liked this story and the development of each character. Looking forward to reading the other installment of this book.
Another installment of Seth and Dom and it was just as good as the first book. The "ending" left me hanging but I've already bought the third book (and the Paris in between story) and hope Seth and Dom eventually have their happily ever after but so far its looking pretty dim. There have been times in the book where I've wanted to slap both of them upside of their heads. Dom for being cruel to Seth and Seth for being an idiot at times. But Dom is like an onion and you have to peel the layers till you get to the real guy...and he's so worth peeling. He's one of those wonderful complex characters who doesn't have a clue as to who he really is, or can't admit it. Seth is like sunshine and happy go lucky - that is when he's not getting them both in trouble with his foolishness. And there are some great scenes in the book (books) funny and sad - like the one where Seth totally breaks down in front of Dom. His utter despair is heartbreaking when he learns he must marry some woman his father has chosen for him. Chinks are starting to appear in Dom's armor because of Seth and he knows he can't live without this man by his side. And the scene where Dom finally allows Seth his one wish is quite something.
